HOT MICRO PERFORATORS

With the hot needle technology the hole is the result of the melting of the material induced by heated pins. The pin cylinders are mounted on a perforation roller. They are heated by special lamps up to a temperature of 400°C. This technology creates homogenous hole.

The micro perforator H100 is the lightest model of Laserpin’s hot perforation range. It guarantees perfect micro-holes in all types of thermoplastic film. The operating speed can reach a maximum of 150 meters/minute. It is recommended for low-density perforations and with thin materials.

The temperature control system maintains the constant value chosen for the perforation process, thus uniformly heating the pins and guaranteeing a homogenous quality of the holes.

All the mechanical parts are designed to operate at high temperatures. The drive system, consisting of a driver, servomotor, and encoder, makes it possible to adjust the rotation speed of the perforation roller to the running speed of the material (up to a maximum of 150 meters/minute). The synchronization of the speed ensures an accurate diameter and uniformity of the holes especially in the case of low density (pins/cm²) perforations.

The microperforator H150 is the standard model of Laserpin’s hot perforation range. It guarantees perfect micro-holes in all types of thermoplastic film. The operating speed can reach a maximum of 200 meters/minute. It is recommended for perforation of different hole patterns (high or low density) and for materials with a thickness of 12 -40 μ.

The temperature control system maintains the constant value chosen for the perforation process, thus uniformly heating the needles andguaranteeing a homogenous quality of the holes.

COLD MICRO PERFORATORS

Cold perforation technology with pin cylinders was first employed in the ’60s. Nowadays it is still a widely used technology with a high value-for-money. In the more basic models, the material flow activates the perforation roller, while in the top-of-the-range models the perforation process is controlled by a motor.

Microperforator TBI100 is a solution for perforating different materials such as PE, PP, PU, ​​paper and aluminum. TBI 100 is a simple, efficient and easy to install perforation unit. The perforation unit is controlled by the speed of the material. It guarantees homogeneous holes and is suitable for a wide range of applications.

A highly durable cold microperforator, the TBI100MVS is the motorized high-speed unit of Laserpin. It is a solution for perforation on a moving web of different materials such as PE, PP, PU, and paper. Its oversized perforation roller structure guarantees perfect and homogeneous holes even in thick materials or where high-density perforations are required (up to 48 pins /cm²). It is suitable for a wide range of packaging applications.

An integrated Adjusting Penetration System regulates the depth to which the pins can penetrate the material, thus allowing for a modification of the diameter of the holes. The unit is compatible with all production lines.

In addition, it is possible to use this unit for embossing using embossing cylinders instead of pin cylinders.

The Easy Change 60 is designed to be installed on a hosting unit for micro perforation on a continuous film line (I.E. unwinding-rewinding units, slitters, extruders, printing machines). It is suitable for any kind of material. It can be used for embossing and blade perforation as well.

The Easy Change 60 cold microperforation unit is ideal for customers who regularly need different kinds of perforations with different densities on a line. It has up to four perforation rollers integrated in the unit, allowing for a fast and easy change of the single rollers to adapt to different perforation needs. The big plus of this feature is that there is no need to stop the production while changing the roller, thus making it perfect to work on extrusion lines. The perforation rollers are changed by a flywheel.

The perforation roller in use is propelled by the motion of the film and rotates accordingly, up to a maximum speed of 150 meters/minute. Pneumatic cylinders that move the counter roller close to the perforation roller easily activate the perforation process. An integrated Adjusting Penetration System regulates the depth to which the pins can penetrate the material, thus allowing for a modification of the diameter of the holes. In addition, it is possible to use this unit for embossing and blade perforation using embossing cylinders or circular blades instead of pins cylinders.

Laserpin has developed a Macroperforator line for every need. From standard applications with holes from 2mm to 16mm, it has also created machines that can drill holes very close to each other and machines suitable for special uses, such as drilling holes up to 100 mm. The EM100 is Laserpin’s unit for cold embossing. It works with both high and low densities, at high speed.

The EM100 is the solution for the embossing of the film on different types of materials on a moving web. It guarantees a high-quality emboss for different applications such as anti-slip and customized embossing. It works up to a speed of 300 m/minute. Different pin densities are available, depending on the customer’s specific needs.

Embossing is mostly used for creating anti-slip bags and film. It is used for texture, designed logos, and control grip.

We produce fibrillating bars and cylinders for an ever-growing number of applications. Our components are made according to our customers’ drawings and specifications. Laseprin offers a worldwide service for spare parts in the field of fibrillation.

Our products are recommended for the textile industry, for non-woven fabrics, ropes, artificial grass and many other applications such as harvest yarns, carpet backing, staple fibres, and packaging cords. We produce fibrillating grooved rollers, fibrillating cylinders, and fibrillating bars. Fibrillating cylinders are of every size, material (i.e. bronze, steel) and a number of pins per centimeter.
